Pelvic Health Physical Therapist | Founder

Dr. Kristin Kennedy is a Doylestown, PA-based physical therapist specializing in pelvic health, with a particular focus on hypermobility spectrum disorders (including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), pelvic pain, endometriosis, bladder and bowel concerns, and pregnancy and postpartum.

Kristin's path into pelvic health started before PT school, when she worked in a lymphedema PT clinic and recognized undiagnosed signs of the condition in her own grandmother. Advocating for her grandmother's care reinforced her interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy.

After graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University, Kristin joined a specialized pelvic health clinic in the Boston area, where she spent four years immersed in advanced clinical training and mentorship under experienced pelvic health practitioners. During that time, she honed her skills across a wide range of complex presentations and developed a particularly deep expertise in hypermobility and connective tissue disorders.

As she treated more patients, Kristin noticed a recurring pattern: many had joint instability, unexplained pain, or symptoms that weren't fully understood by other providers. Her curiosity about hypermobility grew, and eventually, she even recognized it in herself. That personal experience gave her deeper empathy for the patients she serves and further solidified her whole-person approach to care.

Kristin has advanced training through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Her hands-on toolkit includes myofascial release, visceral mobilization, and dry needling, which she integrates alongside exercise-based rehab to treat the full picture. Her goal is always to help patients get back to the things that matter—whether that's lifting, running, or simply moving through daily life without pain.

Last year, Kristin relocated to the Doylestown area, where she founded Linea Pelvic Health to bring specialized, individualized care to her new community. She also welcomed her first baby, and her own postpartum recovery continues to inform her work in ways she couldn't have anticipated.

Kristin is also the founder of PTStudyGuide (@ptstudyguide), an educational platform that she started in the first year of her graduate program, supporting thousands of PT and PTA students nationwide.
